This Cancellation & Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the cancellation and refund procedures for consultation services provided by The Homeo Healer ("we," "us," "our," or "Service"), operated by Dr. Farheen Akhtar (BHMS). By booking an appointment with us, you ("Patient," "User," or "you") agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
2. General Policy
Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent. The refund eligibility depends on who initiates the cancellation:

- Patient-Initiated Cancellation: No refund will be provided if the patient cancels the appointment.
- Doctor-Initiated Cancellation: Full refund will be provided if The Homeo Healer (doctor) cancels the appointment.
3. Patient-Initiated Cancellations
No Refund Policy
If you (the patient) cancel your scheduled appointment for any reason, no refund will be provided. This policy applies regardless of:
- The time of cancellation (whether 24 hours before or on the day of appointment)
- The reason for cancellation (personal, medical, technical, or other)
- Whether you attended the appointment or not
3.1 How to Cancel
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible via email at akhtarfarheen99@gmail.com. While no refund will be provided, early cancellation helps us manage our schedule and potentially offer the slot to another patient.
3.2 No-Show Policy
If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without prior cancellation ("no-show"), this is considered a patient-initiated cancellation, and no refund will be provided.
4. Doctor-Initiated Cancellations
Full Refund Guarantee
If The Homeo Healer (doctor) cancels your scheduled appointment for any reason, you will receive a full refund of the consultation fee. This includes cancellations due to:
- Medical emergencies on the doctor's side
- Technical issues preventing the consultation
- Unforeseen circumstances affecting the doctor's availability
- Any other reason necessitating cancellation by the service provider
4.1 Refund Process for Doctor Cancellations
When we cancel an appointment:
- You will be notified immediately via email and/or SMS
- We will initiate the refund process within 2-3 business days
- The refund will be processed to the original payment method used during booking
- Refund processing time depends on your bank/payment provider (typically 5-10 business days)
4.2 Rescheduling Option
In case of doctor-initiated cancellations, we will also offer you the option to reschedule your appointment to a convenient time at no additional charge, in addition to the refund option.
5. Refund Processing
5.1 Refund Method
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during booking:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunds will be credited to the same card (5-10 business days)
- Net Banking: Refunds will be credited to the same bank account (5-10 business days)
- UPI: Refunds will be credited to the same UPI account (3-5 business days)
- Digital Wallets: Refunds will be credited to the same wallet (3-7 business days)
5.2 Refund Timeline
Initiation: Refunds are initiated within 2-3 business days of cancellation approval.
Processing: Once initiated, refund processing time depends on your payment provider and bank:
- UPI: 3-5 business days
- Digital Wallets: 3-7 business days
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
- Net Banking: 5-10 business days
Note: Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. International refunds may take longer.
5.3 Refund Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed. If you do not receive the refund within the expected timeframe, please contact us with your booking reference number.
6. Technical Issues
6.1 Patient-Side Technical Issues
If you experience technical difficulties (internet connectivity, device issues, etc.) that prevent you from attending the consultation, this is considered a patient-initiated cancellation, and no refund will be provided. We recommend testing your setup before the appointment.
6.2 Service-Side Technical Issues
If technical issues on our side (server problems, platform outages, etc.) prevent the consultation from taking place, this is considered a doctor-initiated cancellation, and a full refund will be provided. We will also offer rescheduling at no additional charge.
7. Rescheduling Policy
7.1 Grace Period for Rescheduling: Once you book an appointment and complete payment, you are granted a 3-day grace period (Days 1-3 from the date of payment). During this grace period, you can request to schedule or reschedule your consultation meeting at no additional charge. From the 4th day onwards, any request to schedule or reschedule a consultation will be subject to additional charges as per the current consultation fee structure.
7.2 Patient-Requested Rescheduling (After Grace Period): If you wish to reschedule your appointment after the 3-day grace period, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled time. Rescheduling is subject to slot availability and additional charges may apply. The original payment remains non-refundable.
7.3 Doctor-Requested Rescheduling: If we need to reschedule your appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer alternative time slots. You may choose to reschedule or request a full refund.
8. Partial Consultations
If a consultation is interrupted or cut short due to technical issues on our side, we will offer either:
- A full refund, or
- A complimentary rescheduled consultation to complete the session
If a consultation is interrupted due to issues on your side (patient-side technical problems, leaving early, etc.), no refund will be provided.
9. Dispute Resolution
If you believe you are entitled to a refund that has not been processed, or if you have concerns about a cancellation decision, please contact us at akhtarfarheen99@gmail.com with:
- Your booking reference number
- Date and time of the appointment
- Reason for the dispute
- Any supporting documentation
We will review your case and respond within 5-7 business days.
10. Payment Gateway Terms
All refunds are processed through Razorpay payment gateway. Refund processing is subject to Razorpay's terms and conditions and your bank's processing times. The Homeo Healer is not responsible for delays caused by payment gateways or financial institutions.
11. Currency and Exchange Rates
All refunds are processed in the same currency in which the original payment was made (typically Indian Rupees - INR). If currency conversion occurred during the original transaction, refunds will be processed in the original currency, and any exchange rate differences are the responsibility of the payment provider.

- No refund will be provided if you cancel your appointment
- A full refund will be provided if we cancel your appointment
- Refund processing times depend on payment providers and banks
- This policy is binding and enforceable
